Much of the information on Autistkids is concerned with the "day to day" living and questions that parents, caregivers, and the general public might have about autism - the "regular life stuff". It's important, and the more information and input that's available, the more guidance from autistic people we can get, the better the world will be for those on the spectrum.

That said, there are other, deeper, far reaching issues that are very important to the autistic community, and to those who love them. These issues are sometimes difficult to navigate, difficult to deal with, often fraught with emotion.
